REDWOOD SPELLING CLUB & BOOK CLUB
Redwood is excited to offer the 4th year of our Spelling Club! This club will engage in practicing spelling, vocabulary and explore the rich language of English while reading books and playing interactive games. The club will meet once a month and participants will be provided resources from the National Scripps Spelling Bee. The Spelling Club is open to one and all at absolutely no cost to participate and enter this amazing contest. Come join like-minded students on this wonderful journey and make new friends along the way.
Promoting literacy since 1925 - the National Scripps Spelling Bee is in it's 90s now!
The BEE's purpose is to help students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives.
The Redwood School Spelling Champion will have the opportunity to take the qualifiers for the Regional Contest and make their way to the National Scripps Spelling Bee.
