Class of 2026 promotion Events Information

As the 8th graders bid farewell to their middle school years, there is a line up of multiple activities to help ensure their last few days of middle school are fun and memorable! Please see below for more information and important dates to keep in mind and bookmark this page! We will update it with the latest information.

8th grade End of Year events and important dates

March 12: 8th grade Promotion Event Early Bird Ticket Sales Begin ($65 per ticket) (click here to order)
March 16: 8th grade hoodie and tshirt order deadline (order here)
April 2: 8th grade panoramic photo ($24/photo)
April 10: Promotion Yard Sale Sign Deadline (order here)
April 16: 8th grade Promotion Event Early Bird Ticket Sales End. Regular Price ($80 per ticket)
May 15: 8th Great America Trip – Sponsored by SEF. (Breakfast in the quad. from 8:35am -9:15am will be sponsored by PTA)
May 20: Slideshow photos (1 Kinder and 1 8th grade photo of your student). Submit them here
May 30 (5:30-8:30 PM): Promotion Party in the RMS Quad and MPR - Organized by parent volunteers (Note: This event is for RMS 8th-grade students only) - see below for more information
June 5 (4:00 PM): Promotion Ceremony in the RMS Upper Field - Organized by the School Administration (Note: This event is open to 8th grade students and guests)

Promotions Party Information

Early Bird ticket price (March 16- April 16): $65 per student

Regular price (after 4/16): $85 per student

Location: The Promotions party will take place at the Redwood Middle School Quad and MPR. This event is open to RMS 8th grade students only.
What to Expect: There will be a variety of food stations, DJ, fun games and activities including but not limited to a casino, carnival games, video game trucks and more! No cash is needed for the event. All food and activities are covered from ticket sales and donations.

Corporate Donations

We are on a very tight budget and would appreciate donation contributions.

If donating directly through your company, please ensure to take the essential step of adding the following information to the notes section of your donation:
- Student’s/participants full name
- School: Redwood
- Grade: 8
- “RMS Promotions Event”
